Theming

About themes​

You can create your own Delivery Gateway theme to customize the look of the embedded DGW UI. The admin dashboard allows you to:

  • Define the primary color of the UI components.
  • The rounding of the surface and button elements.
  • The font family to be used.
note

If you need more extensive customization, you can always use CSS to style the output.

A theme can be active and default.

  • An active theme is available to use.
  • A default theme is applied to your frontend integration without any further configuration.

Create a theme​

  1. Log in to the Delivery Gateway admin dashboard.
  2. In the left menu bar, find Integration, and select Themes.

  3. Click New theme.

  4. In the Handle field, set a name that identifies your theme.

    note

    The handle must be in lowercase, without special characters.

  5. Toggle the Active and Default toggles to set the theme to either active and/or default.

  6. In the Primary color of the components field, set the color you want to use. You can:

    • Use the color mixer provided.
    • Type in a custom RGB value.

  7. Select a rounding option for surface elements:

    Surface elements can be either rounded or square.

  8. Select a rounding option for button elements:

    • FULL: buttons are entirely round.
    • DEFAULT: buttons have rounded corners.
    • SQUARE: buttons are entirely square.

  9. Add a font family.
